Overview

Radtel Protocol Implementation Technical Overview
The Radtel protocol is implemented as a user configurable WorkSuite application, allowing a Brodersen RTU to emulate a Radtel RTU and communicate with RadtelSCADA or ClearSCADA master stations. Features include:
• Reply to poll requests
• Output commands for digital and analog data stores
• Change of state reporting for digital signals
• Counting and integration of digital inputs
• Configurable debounce for digital inputs
• Configurable station number and master addresses
• Configurable hardware flow control settings (baud rate, transmit hold on, transmit hold off)
• Configurable comms settings (retry wait period, number of retries)
• Ability to map physical IO and internal variables to Radtel sub-blocks
